Job Description & Responsibilities
The Data Analyst is responsible for using their knowledge of data processing software to provide sound business information to company Executives. Is very data-driven and possesses strong analytical skills to draw sharp insights and actionable from data. Their duties include collaborating with other data professionals to extract data figures, creating dashboards based on their findings, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine business initiatives’ success.
Key Responsibilities
- Builds success for the Richemont Americas analytics center of excellence.
- Develop a deep knowledge of Richemont data landscape and available data sources.
- Managing the regional analytics user community
- Synchronization with analytics basic support team offshore.
- Works closely with the business data organization and HQ data platforms team.
- Collect data from a variety of sources.
- Create mechanisms for exploring structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Promoting group tools and analytics best practices.
- Providing training to dashboard creators.
- Handle confidential information responsibly.
- Manage metadata.
- Assess data quality.
- Identify patterns in data.
- Generate insights from the available information.
- Examine trends for clues to boost performance.
- Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support data integrity initiatives.
- Create reports to share insights with company leaders.
- Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
- Following business analytics projects to ensure their success.
Requirements
Qualifications
- College education or technical school background. A background in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Economics.
- Proficiency on SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar data visualization tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work in collaboration mode.
- Data visualization preferable with SAP Analytics Cloud to consume SAP and external data as well as Looker to consume data live from the GCP data lake
- Business experience is a plus
- R and SQL experience are plus
- Predictive analytics knowledge is a plus
What we offer
The salary range for this role is $110,000
