Job Description & Responsibilities
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Develop and maintain procurement reports, dashboards, and KPI’s related to spend, supplier performance (scorecard), risk, compliance, and transactional quality/efficiency.
Analyze global procurement spend to find common products, suppliers, and sourcing regions to fully understand spend profile and assist Category Managers in identifying sourcing synergies.
Work with Category Managers to identify critical raw material cost drivers and leverage index pricing subscriptions to give insight into pricing trends.
Lead Procurement’s AI enablement initiatives by identifying high‑value uses, leveraging advanced analytics tools, and support change management/adoption across the team.
Collaborate with Procurement and Finance to support cost budgeting and forecasting activities.
Assist with system enhancements, procurement tool implementations, and data integrity initiatives.
Support sourcing initiatives by preparing data analyses, RFx documentation, and cost models.
Prepare monthly/quarterly reports and pull data for weekly management reviews.
Lead contract metadata activities to give insight into contract lifecycle, financials, risk, and commercial terms.
Lead Procurement Master Data Management to ensure high data hygiene for accurate reporting.
Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support leadership decision-making.
Participate in cross-functional projects related to supply chain optimization or cost reduction.
Support ERP system updates including mass price updates.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support the Procurement function.
Requirements
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, finance, or data analysis roles.
Demonstrated experience analyzing procurement or financial data to support sourcing decisions, cost management, or supplier performance.
Professional certifications such as CPM, CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent
Working knowledge of procurement principles, sourcing methodologies, and contract fundamentals.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets to identify opportunities, trends, risks.
Familiarity with supplier performance management concepts, including KPIs, scorecards, and continuous improvement.
Ability to support savings tracking, budgeting, and forecast analysis.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate data accuracy and integrity.
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI or other reporting tools.
Comfortable working with large, complex datasets and multiple data sources.
Ability to translate data and analysis into clear and actionable insights.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system is a plus.
