Job Description & Responsibilities
Amazon Games is looking for an experienced Lead Game Data Analyst to join our team in bringing our live operations games to market and in developing and growing business opportunities for Amazon.
As a Game Data Business Intelligence Engineer on our team, you will provide insight for and drive key business and game initiatives. You will work closely with product manager, game designers, and leadership to analyze and find solutions to modern gaming challenges.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience
- 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience
- 10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience
What we offer
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
