Sales Analyst job description

Key responsibilities:

Gather data and perform analyses to support broker and wholesaler sales teams in managing the business.

Pull syndicated data from IRI, Nielsen, and customer portals to work with sales partners to report performance and trends while identifying opportunities in the current plan.

Creation & ownership of key internal reports such as shipment, consumption, and rolling ACV report to support sales teams and define opportunity gaps.

Own the monthly data pull for the broker Points of Distribution report including volume, distribution, and financial reporting.

Utilize internal shipment data, customer data, and field sales reports to accurately forecast volume at packgroup level

Deliver on ad hoc requests for additional sales needs regarding data pulls, presentation development, etc.

Summarize and communicate Category and New Item updates.

Work closely with internal Shopper Marketing team on promotional plans, creative design, and retailer promotional calendar.

Input information into systems.

Oversee the process for entering trade spend/forecast changes into Kantar (or assisting broker partners in doing so).

Direct the customer system submission process for new items utilizing data gathered internally and working with cross functional teams.

Oversee the customer system submission process for promotional contracts. (attaching contracts to XTEL promos for initial & final pass).

Support sales teams with administrative tasks.

Work alongside Danone Sales team to optimize account promotional plan.

Oversee the management of customer contract submissions.

Lead any deduction inquiries or discrepancies with the Revenue Specialist team and with support from sales partners

Sales Analyst job requirements

About you:

4 year business degree or work related experience

1 to 3 years work experience

Strong organization skills & attention to detail

Understanding of trade systems/deduction management

Analytical skills and ability to analyze data

Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Superior communication skills (written and verbal)

Some CPG experience

10% travel time
