Senior Associate Data Analyst job description

UST is looking for a talented and creative Data Analyst who will interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques under supervision.

The Opportunity

  • Complies and assists in mining and acquiring data from primary and secondary sources; reorganizing the data in a format that can be easily read by either a machine or a person
  • Assist in identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in data sets' generating insights and helping clients make better decisions.
  • Conducts research on specific data sets to enable the senior analysts in their work
  • Assist in managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletions.
  • Help develop reports and analyses that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
  • Provide support with technical writing and editing as required
  • Develop analytics to identify trend lines across several data sources within the organization
  • Assists senior analysts in examining and evaluating existing business processes and systems, and offer a suggestion for changes

What You Need

  • Ability to articulate complex concepts, build consensus, and deliver high-quality work products
  • Experience working on project teams within a defined methodology while adhering to margin, planning, and SOW requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Management, Computer Science / Technical).
  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution (Management, Computer Science / Technical) is a plus.
  • 2 years of experience in Data Analysis
  • Should have exposure to WEB API
  • Should have exposure to Agile
  • Should have exposure to SQL Server
  • Should have exposure to Windows
  • Should have exposure to JIRA
  • Should be a team player

Role Location: Remote

What we offer at UST

Compensation Range: $56,000-$84,000

Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
