The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for providing insight and drawing conclusions from data to describe, predict, and improve Angel Studios' business performance.

Essential Functions

• Collect, analyze, and present data in clear, easy to digest ways
• Create reports for marketing teams and other applicable teams
• Manage and structure large and small data sets to find usable information
• Work with data and operations teams to process information and drive improvements
• Collaborate with team members to established streamlined processes and measurements of effectiveness
• Constantly seek for ways to solve problems creatively
• Constantly seeking to improve your craft by taking advantage of advances made in the field
• Must attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings
• Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in the English language required. Additional language proficiency is a plus.

Competencies

• In-depth experience and knowledge of data analysis principles, technologies, industry trends and best practices
• You are experienced with BI Visualization tools (Metabase experience preferred)
• You have a good eye for design and creating reports, dashboards and other visualizations that are appealing and informative
• You are experienced in mathematical and statistical analysis and in compiling and summarizing data around customers, processes, economics and other business intelligence areas using tools like SQL, Python, R, and SAS
• You have experience working with large data sets and interacting with Data Lakes/Warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.)
• Capable of managing workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment
• An exceptional listener with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Detail-oriented perspective and able to pick up on overlooked details
• Organization and time management.
