Senior Data Analyst, Operations job description

This position is part of the North America Service Operations Team and will be a remote position. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the NACO Service Operations Team and report to the Director of Service Operations responsible for applying hands on, advanced, analytical and visualization techniques to a broad range of data assets for informing strategic planning, identification of opportunities and optimal resource allocation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain enhanced analytical tools & dashboards to help predict and analyze key operational metric performance to share with Global Service leadership to influence decisions and drive growth
  • Design, develop, document, and maintain dynamic operational and forecast reporting tools to increase accuracy and improve efficiency for crucial KPIs (key performance indicators) and to drive change across the broader service organization
  • Drive connection with service leaders across regions and within the service functions to ensure all related metrics are reconciled across company scorecards and dashboards
  • Translate day-to-day business practices into actionable information for Global Service leadership
  • Create benchmarking analyses and reports to assist in strategy development
Senior Data Analyst, Operations job requirements

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business/Accounting/Finance/Data Science/Computer Science focus preferred) with a minimum of 5 years data analysis experience within an Analytics team
  • Advanced skills with data modeling and visualization techniques in Power BI, Power Query and SQL
  • Experience using databases and reporting tools to automate reporting; advanced skills in data warehouse and data flow tools such as OBIEE, Informatica and Snowflake
  • Data extraction and analysis experience using ERP and CRM systems such as Oracle, ServiceMax and Salesforce.com
  • Expertise in creating and automating dashboards, standard reports, scorecards, ad-hoc reports, and data visualizations that provide key business insights

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Previous Experience and expertise in working with, and creating advanced prompts to leverage AI applications such as ChatGPT
  • Previous Experience and expertise in working with, and creating advanced work in Smartsheet.
  • Working in a cross-functional global environment; Proactive with a curious attitude and able to thrive in the face of ambiguity
What we offer at Beckman Coulter

The salary range for this role is $100,000-120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.

Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
