How you’ll make an impact:

SiriusXM is seeking an experienced Staff Product Analyst to join the Ads Product Analytics team. We’re looking for someone passionate about product, analytics, and leveraging insights to drive impact in our Ad Product and Technology. This analyst will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to deliver actionable insights on product usage and trends that shape the future of our advertising solutions.

What you’ll do:

● Lead complex, cross-functional analytics initiatives spanning multiple products and stakeholder groups, delivering unified insights and ensuring data is central to decision-making and measuring initiative success.

● Own the full analytics lifecycle, from defining data requirements and success metrics to validating data and communicating post-launch insights.

● Build repeatable frameworks, reusable analytics assets, and documentation that empower teams to self-serve insights and focus on innovation.

● Define and evolve the KPIs that power initiative performance and forecasting, inventory quality, audience insights, and advertiser ROI across streaming, satellite, and podcasts.

● Design and oversee dashboards, self-service analytics, and semantic layer definitions that track adoption, engagement, funnel performance, and monetization; partner with other analysts and engineers on implementation.

● Design and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests to validate hypotheses, improve user experience, and quantify the impact of product changes.

● Act as the escalation point for complex issues, partnering with engineering and operations to identify root causes, measure impact, and implement preventive solutions to improve system reliability.

● Mentor analysts and product partners in data fluency, fostering a culture of curiosity, rigor, and continuous learning across teams.

Staff Product Analyst, Ads job requirements

What you’ll need:

● 7+ years post-collegiate work experience in a quantitative field or equivalent educational experience

● Strong proficiency in SQL, R, or Python and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar), and experimentation platforms

● Familiarity with using a semantic layer (LookML, dbt metrics, or similar frameworks) to ensure consistent, reliable data definitions and support accessible, actionable insights across teams

● Proven track record as the primary analytics partner for high impact product areas or business lines

● Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions in ambiguous, high stakes environments

● Exceptional communication and data storytelling skills, including the ability to frame complex topics simply for executives and cross-functional partners

● Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.

● Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
