Job Description & Responsibilities
As a Consultant – Business Analyst at The Gunter Group, you help bring clarity to complex problems. Through clear analysis, documentation, and collaboration with consulting teams and client stakeholders, you ensure work is well-defined and ready for execution.
Deliver High-Quality Analysis:
Elicit, document, and refine business and system requirements to ensure alignment with stakeholder needs and business objectives.
Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
Assess technology solutions by evaluating business implications and system impacts.
Develop functional and non-functional requirements that ensure solution quality.
Bring structure to unstructured challenges by applying established analysis methodologies and best practices.
Business Systems & Technology Enablement:
Analyze business systems by reviewing inputs, outputs, data flows, and system logic to inform decision-making.
Understand an organization’s digital footprint and how systems interact across the enterprise.
Translate technical requirements and system concepts into clear language for business stakeholders.
Partner with technical team members to translate requirements into implementable solutions.
Collaborate Across Stakeholders and Teams
Facilitate discussions with client stakeholders at all levels to gather input and validate requirements.
Partner with project managers, product owners, and delivery team members to ensure clarity of scope and execution.
Collaborate with a team of TGG consultants committed to delivering high-quality client service.
Engage with TGG partners, principals, account leaders, managing consultants, and peers who support your success across engagements.
Requirements
What You Bring:
4+ years of experience in consulting, business analysis, systems analysis, or a related field.
Strong ability to bring structure to complex, unstructured environments.
Proven ability to elicit and manage business and system requirements end-to-end.
Experience with business process mapping and improvement methodologies.
Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience evaluating technology solutions and assessing their business implications.
Strong understanding of business system inputs, outputs, data flows, and logic.
Experience with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
Strong communication skills, including facilitation and presentation to senior leaders.
Exposure to SQL, VBA, Python, R, or other scripting or query languages is a plus.

The total compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000, consisting of a base salary and variable bonus component. Additional compensation beyond this range may be available through contributions to account leadership and business development.
