Job Description & Responsibilities
SymphonyAI is a pre-IPO B2B enterprise AI software company that is transforming industries with advanced AI solutions. Our company is built on the belief that AI is the next transformative wave in enterprise software and that it will drive significant value for businesses across multiple industries. We are looking for a Data Anlalyst to join our SymphonyAI Sensa-Netreveal team and help us continue our growth trajectory. The SymphonyAI Sensa-Netreveal Data Analyst will lead the initial Sensa project delivery from a data qualification and preparation perspective. Undertake client data assessments and support the client's adherence to data conformity for Sensa feature and model generation against the agreed functional and technical requirements.
We are looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst with experience performing indepth data analysis, data extraction and manipulation related to financial transactions data. The candidate will work with a focused team, helping our clients to deliver cleansed and appropriately formatted data ready for implementation.
What you will do:
You will review the current state of client's data, data management processes, and data quality. You will work directly with the client organization, with motivated and experienced practitioners who understand the latest trends in effective Compliance Risk Mitigation and Cyber security readiness. In that process, you will learn to articulate business requirements and provide project support. This is a predominantly a remote position, in either the Boston, New York and Austin area, with the ability to travel up to 40%, or as needed.
Responsibilities Include
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies related to financial transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements for analysis.
- Writing complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databases.
- Programming in Python for data analysis and scripting tasks.
- Implementing data cleansing techniques to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Developing and maintaining data quality checks and processes.
- Communicating findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure effective implementation of data-driven solutions.
Consultant Expertise Highly Desireable
- Working within an engagement team at a customer site.
- Builds solution, customer, and industry domain experience by leveraging the appropriate resources (internally at SymphonyAI Sensa-Netreveal and externally with the client).
- Communicates to effectively resolve problems or issues.
- Applies a broad knowledge of SymphonyAI Sensa-Netreveal applications/solutions.
- Establishes credibility as a conduit for solutions expertise with customers (e.g., positive customer feedback), and is viewed as “trusted advisor” to the customer.
- Becomes a subject matter expert with Symphony Sensa-Netreveal solutions in order to present with credibility and confidence.
Requirements
What You Will Bring
- 3+ years of experience providing services to clients on behalf of a software company
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis.
- Experience with data cleansing techniques and ensuring data quality.
- Knowledge of databases and expertise in ETL processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Start up experience a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 40%, or as needed.
- Role initially remote in the Boston, New York or Austin area. However, will likely evolve to a hybrid role in the near future.
What we offer
The base salary range for this position is between $85,000-$110,000 DOE
The ranges shared are for the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we frequently consider varying levels of experience for a role and understand that the person we hire may be less experienced or more senior than this job description as posted
