Job Description & Responsibilities
Aimé Leon Dore is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in New York, New York, reporting directly to the Senior Data Analyst. Our data analysts play a critical role in this mission by collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights that drive better organizational decision-making. We seek a highly data-driven, detail-oriented analyst with experience working with raw data to produce actionable insights, assisting in the execution of weekly and monthly reporting, maintaining databases, and assisting in ad hoc analyses. A successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to support and optimize launches, merchandising standards, release roll-outs, segmentation, pricing strategies, and other initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect data from multiple sources using appropriate queries and APIs, including Shopify, Klaviyo, and Metabase.
- Build strong working relationships with cross-functional partners to understand trends and opportunities for improvement, address customer needs, & identify pain points.
- Collaborate with Marketing to support and optimize launches, merchandising standards, & special projects.
- Clean and transform raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Perform data analysis using SQL, specifically Amazon Redshift SQL, to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Create clear and concise data visualizations using Excel and Looker Studio to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and automation processes.
- Assist the senior analyst with more complex data analysis projects.
- Partner cross-functionally with Digital Design and Product Management to understand how site updates (New site features, existing improvements, UX enhancements, etc.) impact business goals and onsite behavior. Use insights to make recommendations on changes in strategy.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging data analysis techniques.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Analytics, Ecommerce, or Finance
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, particularly Amazon Redshift SQL.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, analysis, and visualization techniques.
- Experience with data collection tools and APIs is a plus.
- Previous eCommerce experience preferred
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Interest in fashion, particularly streetwear, is a plus.
What we offer
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000
