  • Conduct thorough analysis of pharmacy and wholesale operations, including drug utilization, inventory management and reporting.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support long-term planning and decision making.
  • Ensures compliance of all policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations as they relate to this position.
  • Prepare all operational reports to include but not limited to monthly purchasing, distribution, and pharmaceutical reporting.
  • Prepare quarterly business reviews.
  • Annual and quarterly business audit reporting by customer.
  • Analyze purchasing and distribution data by hospital and patient.
  • Reconcile monthly billing reports.
  • Maintain all historical data and update as needed.
  • Ad Hoc reports as requested.
  • Compliance with the drug supply chain security act (DSCSA).
  • Compliance with the federal 340B discount drug program.
  • Assigned short- and long-term projects.
  • Monitor purchasing contracts compliance and accurate pricing and discounts.
  • Assist with quarterly price changes.
Data Analyst job requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or equivalent combination of education.

Related Experience

  • Four years’ experience in a professional capacity working in health care or ideally pharmacy operations. Direct experience in data analysis and/or health care drug utilization planning background.
  • Any combination of education, training and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.
What we offer at New York Blood Center

For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed annual salary is $75,000.00 p/yr to $85,000.00 p/yr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
