Job Description & Responsibilities
Are you a problem solver? Do you enjoy mastering puzzles, especially those involving numbers? Does math get you excited? Do you spend more time on GitHub than social media? If so, the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) business unit wants you as a Data Analyst. You will apply your strong technical and analytical skills to developing best in class risk monitoring and governance tools. To excel in this role, you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, a deep understanding of essential data analysis tools and databases, and a practical understanding of how these tools can produce optimal results.
Partners with GRC functional areas to define and implement Data Driven Compliance reporting, dashboards and analytics
- Partner with all GRC functional areas to create and maintain scalable and flexible Risk Management reporting, analytics, and dashboards using SSRS, Tableau, Python, and other business intelligence tools.
- Support GRC projects through data mining, data mapping, and data architecture efforts.
- Proactively identify areas of opportunity to enhance analytics, reporting, and governance. Proactively identify and implement opportunities to automate processes and optimize tools.
- Analyze high-volume datasets to investigate, identify, and report trends linked to deposits/lending compliance regulatory exceptions and key risk factors. Perform regression and other statistical analyses to identify key data relationships. Participate in model tuning and model validation as necessary.

- 3+ years of Python and/or R experience or demonstrably equivalent skill (specifically custom automation, integration with SQL, data analysis and/or AI/ML libraries)
- 1+ year of data visualization (Tableau or Power BI) experience or demonstrably equivalent skill (specifically building dashboards and high impact visualizations)
- 1+ year of SQL experience or demonstrably equivalent skill (specifically developing and optimizing queries, customizing to specific requirements, and analyzing data)
What we offer
Target Range:
$58,225.10 - $78,775.14
Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%
