As a Computational Modeling And Data Analyst You Will

  • Use a host of simulation tools, coding languages, and statistical methods to analyze system-trade comparisons.
  • Develop system performance metrics that provide insights to Government customers and decision-makers.
  • Work travel to quarterly working group meetings (within CONUS) is possible as well as additional training opportunities.

A week in a life of an Computational Modeling and Data Analyst :

  • Develop models of tactical situations
  • Prepare analytical product reports
  • Brief technical material to Government leadership
  • Analyze environmental data and impacts on real world platforms and sensors
  • Apply advanced statistical methods to improve effectiveness of system capability
  • Apply your knowledge to support system trade studies, warfare assessments, and create analytic products to support DoD leadership decision making.
  • Guide Concept of Operations development through analysis
  • Interface with Subject Matter Experts to establish model assumptions
  • Generate presentations communicating analysis methodology and results for audiences ranging from MORS conferences to Flag Officers
  • Apply machine learning and pattern recognition optimization techniques

Job Requirements

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computational Modeling and Data Analytics
  • Background in Statistics, engineering and/or operations research
  • Relevant course work in math modeling, data structures, statistical analysis, and programming languages.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
