Data Analyst, Automation job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join our marketing team as a Data Analysis and Automation Specialist focused on Demand Generation. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging data-driven insights and automation tools to drive the success of our demand generation campaigns. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize our marketing strategies, increase lead generation, and improve overall campaign performance. What You Will Do

Data Analysis

  • Analyze marketing data, including lead generation metrics, website traffic, email performance, and conversion rates to identify trends and opportunities
  • Develop actionable insights from data analysis to refine demand generation strategies and tactics
  • Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of demand generation campaigns

Automation Implementations

  • Implement marketing automation workflows to streamline lead nurturing, scoring, and segmentation
  • Collaborate with the marketing operations team to build and optimize automated email campaigns, lead scoring models and data enrichment processes

Demand Generation Strategy

  • Work with the demand generation team to execute data-driven marketing strategies to generate leads and drive revenue
  • Utilize Data insights to identify target audiences and create personalized and segmented campaigns
  • A/B test campaign elements and iterate on strategies to optimize performance

Data Quality and Management

  • Ensure data accuracy and cleanliness within the marketing database
  • Implement data governance practices to maintain data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. GDPR)
  • Collaborate with the IT department or data teams to integrate and centralize marketing data sources

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and other team members to develop compelling and data-driven marketing assets
  • Work closely with sales teams to align demand generation efforts with lead quality and conversion goals
  • Provide data-driven insights to improve the overall customer journey and enhance the user experience
Data Analyst, Automation job requirements

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, data science, or a related field
  • Proven experience (3 years) in demand generation, data analysis, and marketing automation
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms including Pardot, Zoom Info and CRM systems (SalesForce)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with SQL, data visualization tools, and advanced Excel skills would be a plus
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media) is preferred
