Data Analyst, Customer job description

As QuidelOrtho continues to grow, we are seeking a Customer Data Analyst 1. The Customer Data Analyst 1 is a member of the Contract Operations team, reporting directly to the Supervisor of Customer Master Data. This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of customer master data for the North America Commercial business. This role will be responsible for data management to accurately create and maintain customer data, data analysis and process improvements (both new and existing customers) through the Master Data Management application cycle.

The Responsibilities

  • Accurately create, update, and maintain customer master data records in compliance with company policies and data quality standards within the SAP and various systems.
  • Perform routine data cleansing, de-duplication and validation is ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, finance, etc to ensure customer master data is integrated seamlessly into various systems and processes.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, anomalies and issues related to customer records.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of customer data management.
  • Maintain documentation of data management procedures through SOP's/WKI/PRO's
  • Participate on cross functional teams to support Global / US projects.
  • Applicable Audit support.
  • Travel: Up to 5% domestically

The Individual

Required

  • Education: Associate's degree
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a business related field
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrates independent work ethic with appropriate balance escalating any issues and challenges
  • Travel: Up to 5% domestically

Preferred

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business
  • Experience: 3 years in a sales operations, contracting, or analytical role
  • Advanced expertise with Microsoft Excel and SAP

Key Working Relationships

Internal: Works cross functionally with contract managers, customer service, sales reps, and members of the Contact Operations team to manage customer data.

External: At times will need to contact QuidelOrtho customers and other partners.

The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on that facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $81,000 and is eligible for the Global Bonus Plan. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time) and paid Holidays. All benefits are non-contractual, and QuidelOrtho may amend, terminate, or enhance the benefits provided, as it deems appropriate.
