Data Analyst, Customer job description

The Customer Data Analyst is a key player on the Data team that uses quantitative approaches to drive decision making for various stakeholder groups. With an in-depth understanding of Divert’s technology solutions and customer needs, this role will both analyze customer data and the systems by which we collect and present that data. This includes monitoring incoming data streams, generating reports and analyses on request, as well as crafting new systems to create “sources of truth” for the organization. In addition to working with the Customer Success team, this role will also interface with our Technology team to continuously improve our IoT platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and assess the quality of incoming data from our various data streams, including IoT and manually entered data
  • Ensure that all routine and ad hoc reports have high data quality. Effectively resolve or escalate issues with data and reporting inconsistencies/errors
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for customer reports and analyses
  • Own the creation and maintenance of any systems that make high-quality data accessible to end-users in a robust and scalable way (i.e., “sources of truth”)
  • Work with technical teams to productionize new front-end systems that use customer data
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to identify and articulate customer data and reporting requirements for internal stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MA or MS.c preferable
  • 2+ years of experience delivering quantitative analysis for business
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Intermediate SQL skills
  • Experience working with large datasets and algorithms is preferred
  • Experience working in Technology and/or Supply Chain & Logistics is preferred
