This role sits in the Global Sales, Strategy & Operations (GSSO) organization who is tasked on improving sales productivity for 7,000+ Sales Force by partnering with stakeholders across the business to design and implement innovative solutions that meet client retention and growth goals and deliver strong returns on resource investment.

GSSO within Gartner encompasses Territory Planning & Analytics, Sales Technology, Sales Process & Analytics, Sales Programs, and other core functions supporting Gartner’s sales teams. This role, on the Territory Planning and Analytics team is responsible for assessing and developing insights on the impact Gartner’s Rules of Engagements (ROEs) has Sales outcomes in support of Gartner’s go-to-market (GTM) sales strategy.

What you’ll do:

  • Execute monthly reporting needs for Sales Leadership to inform them of any impact conflicts related to ROEs have on their specific region (e.g., # of active cases, NCVI impacted by ROEs, Top ROE cases, etc.)
  • Build a reporting dashboard (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to provide real-time ROE case insights for ROE Strategy, TP&A, Sales, and Team NCVI.
  • Support ad hoc analyses to quantify impact of ROEs on a MoM, YoY basis (e.g., # of cases, NCVI impacted, etc.)
  • Collaborate with other TP&A and GSSO partners on any projects quantifying the impact of ROEs, or other ROE improvement opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement by supporting initiatives, taking complete ownership in areas of key responsibilities, and meeting various department goals, and objectives.

What you’ll need:

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data cleansing, data visualization, and quantitative roles or related position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Data-driven and strategic thinking with good problem-solving, time management and communications skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when performing analyses.
  • Passion for transforming data into insights and providing strategies for identifying and solving complex business problems.
  • Provide input and collaborate on key decisions while prioritizing responsibilities in a hybrid/remote work environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with high level teams globally, across multiple business units, as a thought partner.
  • Proficient in Excel to perform various reporting requirements or ad hoc analyses.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and Salesforce CRM is a must.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python is preferred.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 86,940 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
