As a Digital Data Analyst, you will...
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards and data visualizations for internal and external use
- Has an understanding of today's ever evolving data privacy landscape and what it means in terms of deploying Google Analytics, tagging / tracking, and advertising pixels from a client and/or server-side implementation perspective to align with industry best practices
- Conduct Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager audits to identify implementation issues and provide recommended solutions or additional areas of opportunity through custom techniques
- Leads deployment of tags, pixel, digital methods (cookies/server) to track performance
- Maintains agency-wide standards for pixels, tagging and UTM’s to ensure consistency across reporting
- Develops digital data strategies (e.g. what we should capture, how we should capture it, and the triggers/decisions as a result, etc.)
- Builds custom web analytics strategies to align reporting and tracking with agency and client needs
- Analyzes digital campaign performance, makes recommendations for optimizations and builds new systems for data collection, processing and visualization to create efficiencies
- Stays current on key pillars of web analytics, including: client-side tracking/tagging, server-side tracking/tagging, website performance and ad platform tracking
- Interprets digital data, analyzes results and provides insights to support the decision-making process
- Develop and maintain data quality and accuracy standards
- Works closely with cross-functional teams to provide an internal consultative perspective on analytical tools, measurement and testing
- Works with leadership in the strategic planning process, helps in the creation of business plans, market research, and tracking and reporting of data intelligence
- Provides training to other team members

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree required and 5-7 years of experience.
- Must be analytical, organized, flexible, and able to problem solve
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within all levels of the agency
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong skills in Excel required; Tableau and Agency Analytics experience and skills are preferred
- Hands-on experience with digital analytics platforms (i.e. Google Analytics and Google Search Console), as well as tag management systems (i.e. Google Tag Manager
- Must have experience with GA4 implementation through Google Tag Manager
- Advanced understanding of GA4 preferred
- Knowledge and experience with GTM Data Layer and HTML/CSS/JavaScript preferred
- Must have experience managing databases and developing data visualizations
- Able to lead and train others on the team
- Professional work ethic and a team player
- Must demonstrate initiative and proactivity in seeking new opportunities and solutions
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

This position is open to work remotely, or if in the Des Moines area, hybrid in office 3 days a week.
What we offer
The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers in the state of Colorado to disclose the following information. If the position applied to is not located in Colorado, the following information may not apply. Salary Minimum: $61,698 Salary Maximum: $95,631. Other components of our Total Rewards package are our discretionary bonus plan and employee stock ownership plan, health, dental, and vision insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, volunteer time off and paid time off.
