Job Description:

Cloud Lake, LLC is seeking a Data Analyst (DA) to support mission-critical federal programs and highly visible contracts. The DA will import, clean and normalize data to mission systems from a variety of data sources via ETL, ELT, and similar techniques. The DA will create data visualizations of those data sets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Queries, database structures, ETLs, and data visualizations tools. Other team supporting skills such as functional testing and Scrum Master skills are a plus. This role supports multiple federal initiatives and drives delivery of secure, scalable, and compliant solutions. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

Responsibilities:

Independently import, clean and normalize data into a variety of Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS) from a variety of data sources via ETL, ELT, and similar techniques.

RDMS examples include, but are not limited to: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

ETL techniques to be used include Oracle SQL*Loader, SSIS, and custom SQL Statements

Create data visualizations of those data sets. Tools will vary with the client needs, but common examples include Power BI, Tableau, and JavaScript based web tools.

Assist the team by performing additional tasks such:

Functional testing of Applications

Editing of HTML content

Scrum Master Responsibilities

Collaborate with Federal oversight IT Program/Task Managers, providing input on technical approaches, level-of-effort estimations, trade-offs, data analysis and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Data Analyst job requirements

Qualifications:

US Citizenship.

Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Information Technology or similar degree, or 4 years of military service.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology of which at least 8 years will be in RDMS related data work.

Experience working in a production environment with at least two of the following RDMS platforms: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

Experience with at least one Data Visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

Strong written and oral communication skills; experience briefing stakeholders and current/prospective clients.

Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity with Functional Testing processes.

Experience with SharePoint and Power Platforms.

Experience operating within Agile, SAFe, or DevSecOps delivery environments as a Scrum Master.
