Job Description & Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Develop Solutions: Design custom analytical methodologies and products that maximize impact for our investigative and audit clients.
Collaborate Across Teams: Thrive in a team environment, working closely with technical and data support professionals.
Translate Complexity: Distill sophisticated analytical solutions and results in clear, compelling briefings for customers, executives, and non-technical audiences.
Advise and Inform: Analyze diverse and desperate data and apply comprehensive and expert knowledge to advise on needs, operational impacts, strategic objectives, and other related issues.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
You must meet ALL of the minimum qualifications listed below.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Geography, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or related analytics or engineering field.
AND
Must have 1 year of specialized experience with query languages (e.g., SQL), programming languages (e.g., Python), business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, ArcGIS Pro, etc.), and analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks).
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge and experience with Postal Service processes and related data systems for mail processing, delivery, logistics, or other business functions.
Knowledge and experience in the law enforcement, audit, and/or mailing industry.
Knowledge and experience using cloud computing platforms.
Knowledge of advanced analysis techniques such as natural language processing, predictive analytics, and machine learning model. development, training, evaluation, testing, refinement, deployment, and maintenance.

As a result of the passage of the Postal Service Reform Act of 2022 (PSRA), USPS employees (including USPS OIG) and retirees will transition from the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program to the Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB) Program effective January 1, 2025.
