The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and quantitative skills, along with the ability to multi-task and adjust priorities as necessary. The work environment includes both regular deliverables with known timelines and deadlines, as well as ad hoc projects and analyses. We value creativity and fresh ideas, especially as they relate to improving and optimizing recurring or ongoing processes.

Data Analyst, Finance job requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or relevant experience
  • 1+ years of analytical experience preferably in financial services or insurance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel (ability to create, manipulate and formulate spreadsheets using lookup functions, pivot tables, charts and graphing)
  • Experience with PowerBI
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Workday Financials and/or Adaptive Planning
  • Experience building macros in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience building queries in Microsoft Access
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Gateways)
  • Experience with SQL and/or SAS
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
  • Ability to analyze data using statistical, mathematical or data mining methods
  • Experience in process control and/or project management
  • This position is a hybrid role, currently 3 days per week onsite. Remote work days when not onsite.
What we offer at Geico

Annual Salary

$72,000.00 - $113,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.

At this time, GEICO will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
