Job Description & Responsibilities
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT COASTAL
Support CCBX by providing oversight of Fintech Partners with an emphasis on lending products. The Loan Compliance Data Analyst will conduct testing and monitoring as required. Areas of oversight to be defined based on Partner scope including but not limited to product applicable regulations, terms and conditions, and other compliance areas.
HOW YOU’LL DO IT
- Conduct a full analysis of partner product offerings, including review of partner website and policies and procedures as required for loan testing and monitoring.
- Review partner data reports to ensure data points required for testing are included.
- Report any data deficiencies to Management upon discovery.
- Perform partner loan testing as outlined in the CCBX Oversight Testing Schedule.
- Identify errors during testing and report to Management in a timely manner.
- Perform a full review and analysis of partner data in conjunction with partner credit policies and adherence to underwriting guidelines to identify potential exceptions.
- Report exceptions discovered during testing to Management in a timely manner.
- Review Loan reports for trends, anomalies, deficiencies, and potential risk exposure.
- Provide Management with a summary report of testing performed outlining any errors or exceptions.
- Report any program deficiencies to Management.
- Follow and comply with all regulatory and compliance regulations.
- Provide customer service in accordance with Coastal’s Core Values.
- Because we are a rapidly changing organization, there will be other duties as assigned.
Requirements
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and understanding of Fintech with a strong technical background.
- Strong analytical skills required with the ability to dissect data using multiple data points to identify potential exceptions.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, affected departments and our Strategic Partners.
- Excellent analytical skills required.
- Ability to prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data from various sources and formats.
- Required to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
- Must have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience with 3-5 years banking and/or lending experience preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of Consumer Regulations with an emphasis on Loan Regulations, including but not limited to, Reg B, Reg F, Reg G, Reg O, Reg V, Reg X, Reg Z, Flood, MLA, SCRA.
- Strong compliance background required.
- Knowledge and understanding of Fintech with a strong technical background.
- Proficient experience with personal computers and Windows based software including MS Office products and advanced skills in Excel.
- Strong research skills using various resources including partner core systems and the internet.
