About the role:

We’re looking for a strategic and highly analytical Marketing Data Analyst to help drive smarter acquisition, stronger retention, and more effective marketing investment decisions.

In this role, you will partner with Marketing, Finance, and Leadership teams to transform complex, multi-channel data into clear insights and actionable recommendations. You'll play a key role in shaping how we measure performance, evaluate growth opportunities, and optimize the full customer journey.

Operating at the intersection of data and strategy, you’ll turn insights into clear direction that shapes priorities, investments, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze acquisition, lifecycle, and broader marketing performance to identify trends, diagnose funnel gaps, and uncover opportunities to improve CAC, ROAS, LTV, retention, and engagement.

Translate complex datasets into clear dashboards, reports, and executive-ready narratives for monthly business reviews, QBRs, and strategic planning sessions.

Conduct deep-dive analyses into customer behavior, cohorts, segmentation, and retention patterns to inform marketing strategy and user journey improvements.

Partner with performance marketing to evaluate multi-channel campaign impact and support optimization across paid, owned, and earned channels.

Strengthen marketing attribution and incrementality measurement, including SKAN and probabilistic modeling approaches

Design and evaluate A/B and multi-variate tests, ensuring rigorous measurement and actionable insight generation

Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, and Data teams to enhance data reliability, improve measurement frameworks, and evolve out analytics capabilities.

Serve as a trusted analytical advisor to marketing leadership, providing context, clarity, and strategic recommendations

Data Analyst, Marketing job requirements

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in marketing analytics or growth analytics within B2C, B2B, e-commerce, or SaaS environments.

Advanced SQL proficiency with hands on experience analyzing marketing and user level data sets

Experience with modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery), including querying, data modeling, and building or maintaining tables to support analytics and scalable reporting.

Strong understanding of core marketing and growth metrics across the customer lifecycle, including acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and LTV, with the ability to connect marketing performance to broader business outcomes

Proven ability to craft clear, compelling data stories and present insights to non-technical audiences and senior stakeholders.

Demonstrated success partnering cross functionally with Marketing, Product, Data Engineering, and Finance teams

Exceptional analytical, structured thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate independently in fast-paced environments.

Bonus:

Strong understanding of core marketing performance metrics, including CAC, CLV, ROAS, funnel performance, attribution, retention, and incrementality.

Experience with mobile measurement partners (e.g., AppsFlyer) and familiarity with mobile attribution.
