Data Analyst, Research job description

Summary of Position:

Lionsgate is currently seeking an Analyst, Worldwide TV Research to join the Distribution Research Team in overseeing Lionsgate’s data synergy initiatives. This role will work with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain, improve and grow our centralized database, while collaborating with key stakeholders to refine analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities:

Partner with data engineers to ensure internal data systems are accurate and structured efficiently.

Create and improve data visualizations.

Structure, process and ingest new data streams into integrated data systems.

Collaborate with end users to ensure current reporting meets the needs of multiple teams.

Work with data science team to support advanced research projects.

Data Analyst, Research job requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

Very strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong mathematics, statistics, programming, or behavioral analytics background

Curious with proven problem-solving abilities

Ability to derive compelling insights from raw data

Skilled in explaining complicated concepts to non-experts

Highly organized and detailed oriented

Resourceful in finding solutions to problems

Ability to constantly multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

3-5 years experience in a related field

Nice to Haves:

Experience in TV Distribution or consumer research

Comprehensive knowledge of the film and TV industry and enthusiasm for film and TV content (both current and historical)

Familiarity with programming languages, Snowflake, Tableau, Github and AWS
