Data Analyst, Retail Operations job description

Meta is looking for a Reality Labs (RL) Retail Operations Data Analyst. This person will be responsible for planning, budgeting, communicating, building, maintaining, and reporting on all aspects as it relates to Channel Enablement Operations programs across all of our existing and future partners. There will be a retail operations focus that this role will require. This role plays an instrumental part in helping customers find, learn and experience Reality Labs products through physical retail.

The primary role of the RL Retail Operations Data Analyst is to work with data and ensure data is managed with accuracy, accessibility and with visualization in mind. The role is impact, accuracy and organization oriented with the goal of defining functional processes. The RL Retail Operations Data Analyst must be have experience in a fast-paced environment, executing multiple projects at a time while working collaboratively and communicating clearly across teams.

Retail Operations Data Analyst Responsibilities:

Build processes for the retail organization based on business needs and requirements presented from the organization.

Manage, maintain and visualize large volumes of data from multiple sources globally using Tableau.

Partner closely with Channel Marketing Managers, Strategic Account Managers, 3rd party labor partners, Analytics and Channel Services team members on a regular basis to run the business with the utmost efficiency and accuracy.

Act as liaison between global 3rd party labor partners, channel marketing managers and channel services for data management.

Assess and make calculated decisions to maximize return on investment and efficiency by leveraging partnerships with the internal analytics team.

Build highly detailed analysis recommendations for a variety of Reality Labs initiatives across all product lines.

Create, maintain, and enforce in-store data collection processes with 3rd party labor partners.

Review instructions and execution for multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail.

Manage field execution reporting to internal stakeholders via dashboards.

Develop and launch key performance indicator management tools and dashboard by managing engineering resources.

Data Analyst, Retail Operations job requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of professional experience designing, building and managing data visualizations

3+ years of retail operations, channel marketing analytics or relevant experience.

Experience with Tableau, PowerBi, Alteryx, Hive and other data visualization and customization tools.

Experience managing data pipelines and ingestion processes

Experience understanding the unique operating conditions within retailers and how that impacts the planning and executing of the initiatives for all product lines.

Experience sharing program/project updates across broad teams and organizations.

Experience Creating/Managing Data Visualization

Extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail with the experience to track and communicate the intricacies of reporting results for project execution.

Experience managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Statistics, or Data Science).

Preferred Qualifications:

Tableau Certified Data Analyst preferred

Consumer Electronics experience.

Microsoft and Google Suite expert proficiency

Familiarity with retail partners and their guidelines and processes.

Experience within a brand managing analysis and budgets.

Experience in reporting on large-scale launches and programs.

Experience in working in a highly cross-functional setting.

Experience translating complex engineering and data related items to make them understandable by the lowest common denominator.

Experience with AI enhanced Data Modeling and Analysis

Understanding of SQL subqueries, statements, join types, window functions, common
