Data Analyst, Revenue & Marketing job description

We are currently delivering raw data from a number of services to our Snowflake data warehouse, and we are working to add new data sources. With an eye on what data is, and could be, available you will work with stakeholders to define key metrics, build data models with dbt, develop dashboards in Looker, and empower the team to make informed decisions.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and deploy reports, models, and dashboards to support the GTM, marketing, sales and finance teams.
  • Identify possible gaps in our business and product, and initiate projects that will help us meet our KPIs
  • Improve access and visibility to our data by data visualizations - using various BI tools
  • Be a driving influencer on the use and application of analysis; deliver what’s needed, and show what’s possible
  • Conduct qualitative & quantitative analysis of user behavior to uncover issues or opportunities to improve our customers’ experience
  • Standardize critical metrics and build intuitive self-service products via the modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Looker).
Data Analyst, Revenue & Marketing job requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics working with large data sets across a range of sources
  • Excellent business acumen, with the ability to contextualize information and translate business issues into data models
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills, with experience applying skills to thoughtfully create data models in a warehouse environment
  • Experience with the modern data stack (i.e. dbt, Snowflake, and Looker)
  • Strong data visualization skills, with the ability to translate data and its meaning to all stakeholders; Looker experience preferred
  • Curious problem solver who can find creative solutions to business and data problems
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter able to make suggestions to improve reporting by adjusting business processes and data tracking.
  • Excellent communicator with track record of strong collaboration across teams to drive data-driven decision making
  • Quantitatively rigorous

Salary

The starting salary for this role is between $79,000 - $95,000 , depending on skills and experience. We take a geo-neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location. For all other countries, we have competitive pay bands based on market standards.
