Data Analyst, Revenue Operations job description

As an analyst working with the GTM team, you will be responsible for raising the bar for analysis quality and decision making on our outbound sales team. You will partner cross-functionally with GTM leadership to measure sales pipeline health, experimentation with different sales strategies and tactics, and improve the overall efficiency of our growth machine. You will report to the GTM Analytics Lead and are welcome to either work out of our office in New York City or work remotely from anywhere in the continental US or Canada.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and analyze revenue operations metrics and KPIs, such as MRR, LTV, and payback
  • Collaborate with the sales team to evaluate and improve sales performance, lead generation effectiveness, and conversion rates
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and revenue growth through in-depth analysis of sales and marketing data, funnel metrics, and customer segments
  • Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards on sales performance, including key metrics, sales forecasts, and pipeline analysis
  • Design and implement data-driven experiments to test hypotheses and measure the impact of various initiatives on revenue growth
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing and Sales, to understand their data needs and provide ad-hoc analysis and reports as required
  • Provide training and support to the Sales team on utilizing sales data, analytics tools, and reporting effectively

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in a highly analytical role or revenue operations role, ideally at a D2C or SaaS company
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python or R
  • A demonstrated self-starter with strong communication and project management skills
  • Excitement about working in for a a high-paced, fast-changing start-up and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get foundational work done
  • Proficiency with dbt, Looker or data visualization tools is preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM and martech tools like Hubspot, Iterable and similar is a plus
What we offer at GlossGenius

The starting base salary for this role in New York, California, and Washington is between $113,000-$133,000 + target equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in GlossGenius’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within our total rewards offering.
