Job Description & Responsibilities
The Sales Excellence Data Analyst is responsible for front end data modeling, and enhancements to assist departments with their reporting needs. This position is responsible for gathering functional requirements for data and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and integrity of data models per defined business requirements.
Responsibilities
Partners with stakeholders throughout the business to design, build, and deploy automated, self-service, and sustainable reporting solutions.
Leveraging strong understanding of sales strategy, to creates dashboards and other tools to support the efficient and effective transformation data into insights.
Facilitates business requirement gathering sessions, analyzes and transforms requirements into technical solutions.
Ensures accuracy of data and integrity of data models as defined by business requirements by working with applicable Information Technology colleagues.
Collaborates with applicable Information Technology colleagues on projects to maintain a clean data structure and “single source of truth”.
Leads cross-functional teams and collaborates with stakeholders in Viega’s global and regional functions.
Owns and delivers on a prioritized list of legacy reporting to be replace with business intelligence tools or solutions
Coordinates with Information Technology colleagues to address gaps in the data.
Facilitates testing and training of developed solutions.
Develops deep expertise in matching assigned department structure, business, and overall goals to data solutions.
Partners with business leaders to understand how data into deeper insights and management action.
Develops and maintains data models and visual layers, and reporting tools.
Creates and manages dashboards and reports to track business performance and key metrics.
Performs data validation and quality checks to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
Supports the development of data governance policies and procedures.
Creates and maintains documentation as needed.
Stays informed of new features and technologies and actively looks for ways to incorporate.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in the use of common office equipment and software – including: computers, printers, Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Advanced level skills with Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good understanding of data modeling and complex database schema.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively lead strategic initiatives
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong detail-orientation and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with key stakeholders and tactfully exercise influence across the organization

Effectively manages multiple competing projects and priorities.
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Information Science required. Focus on data analytics/business intelligence preferred.
5-7 years professional experience with data analytics projects; using SQL for data preparation and analysis and providing support to End Users required
SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI experience preferred
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Total Rewards Package:
Compensation:
Base: $89,000-119,000 based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
