Data Analyst, Sales Optimization job description

This position will primarily be responsible for executing and delivering analytical insights & reporting, campaign development, and database management within the Comm Reporting & Analysis department. The Analyst will partner as needed with Business Intelligence, Revenue Management, and Consumer Sales with ad-hoc requests and the preparation of internal data sources that drive operational and strategic efforts. Reporting using a mix of Tableau and/or Excel to be delivered to both management and sales team that highlights identified key performance indicators. The individual will work closely together with other members of Commercial Reporting & Analysis in identifying and developing practical efficiencies. As projects also get more complex, we expect that this individual will be able to provide a higher level of technical detail that will be needed for more advance data driven projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Work with internal teams to execute, maintain, build, and/or improve queries, reports and dashboards using SAS, Tableau and/or Excel that deliver insights on key performance indicators
  • Build, maintain and replenish databases for Personal Vacation Planners
  • Development of SQL/SAS code within SAS Enterprise Guide to produce and execute outbound call campaign.
  • Deliver analytical insights into outbound campaign performance using Tableau and/or Excel.
  • Assist with ad-hoc analytical and reporting requests.
  • Support internal teams on designated special projects

QUALFICATIONS:

  • BA in Marketing or Data Analytics related degree
  • MBA or related degree preferred
  • 2+years experience as an analyst in finance, marketing or a business analytics role
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or SAS required.
  • Prior experience using SAS Enterprise Guide preferred.
  • Python experience is a plus
  • Knowledge and usage of Tableau for dashboards and analytics required
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical and communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to work with all levels of employees and vendors.
  • Ability to work well on a team and independently

The salary for this role is $51,600. $75,300. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
