Job Description & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Be the voice of consumer/shopper, generating fact-based insights and injecting them across all aspects of the business, including but not limited to brand strategy, communication strategy, creative development, innovation, product, packaging, in market execution and assessment.
Develop and execute qualitative and quantitative research plans with some autonomy grounded in understanding of the business challenges and opportunities.
Analyze Nielsen/ Circana sales data and Numerator panel data to bring to life consumption trends and consumer behavior.
Assist in development of questionnaires, discussion guides and crafting of primary research.
Influence brand teams and the cross-functional team members by actively and persuasively representing the consumer and marketplace dynamics to inform business strategies and tactics.
Interpret results of research to drive action, taking the what to so what and now what?
Integrate and triangulate data and insight from multiple sources (primary, secondary, and syndicated) to drive holistic business recommendations and strategy development.
Actively participate and provide thought leadership on category, consumer and trends, not just research and related issues.
Leverage social listening tools to keep a pulse on topics related to our category, competitors and brands.
Collaborate with other functional leads to ensure consumer understanding and insight is integrated with the needs of all constituencies (e.g., R&I, Creative, Sales, Promotions, Legal, Advertising and Media Agencies, etc.)
Requirements
About you:

Preferred Education & Experience:
3+ years of experience in consumer insights, analytics, or research agency experience. Consumer packaged goods experience preferred.
B.S./B.A. (required) Marketing, Business, or related field
M.S./MBA (preferred) in Marketing, Business, or related field
What we offer
The salary range for this position is $70k-85kUSD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.
