Data Analyst, Workforce job description

Peraton requires a Workforce Data Analyst to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3. Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Execute collaboration with limited supervision supporting the Strategic Workforce Manager, Workforce Management team, and Team Peraton stakeholders to use program personnel information and develop standard and localized Workforce reports that accelerate EOM, Enterprise, Component, and TSOC personnel decisions and improve efficiencies.
  • Understand and use both qualitative and quantitative data to create workforce analytics that drive the program across the Enterprise, Components, and TSOCs.
  • Assess data and analytics capabilities across the 1EOM Tools Suite to identify areas of improvement in the communication of personnel metrics, statistics, and workforce information.
  • Execute workforce data quality and integrity initiatives with limited supervision within program related personnel management systems (e.g. J6/ITMO PETA, RMS/1EOM Tools, and supporting Team Peraton corporate systems).
  • Implement and execute with limited supervision workforce dashboards and analytics for use by all levels of the program.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with the Senior Workforce Data Analyst, regional Workforce Managers, and Senior Deployment Specialist to execute submission of requests through the DOCPER process in support of OCONUS personnel assignment to Germany and the UK.
  • Collects and submits required personnel information in ECOPS; Tracks and reports status and approval of ECOPS requests as directed.
  • Some positions may require work outside a traditional work schedule to support the needs of the customer

Required Qualifications:

  • BS and 2-4 years experience, or MS and 0-2 years experience. or HS and 8-10 years experience.
  • Ability to configure workforce data analytics to deliver required reporting with limited supervision.
  • Clearance: A minimum of a DoD Secret clearance is required; TS w/ SCI eligibility preferred
