Lead Data Analyst
About Our Company
Help the world experience more live.
SeatGeek was built in 2009 as the only mobile ticketing marketplace created with fan experience top of mind. We’re transforming the way fans buy and sell their tickets to their favorite live events across sports, music, and theater.
While we humbly believe we have the best consumer technology on the market, our mission goes beyond that – by bringing a technology-first approach to an entire industry sorely in need of a better solution, we aim to be a force for good in live entertainment.
SeatGeek’s acquisition of TopTix marks our entrance into the primary market. From then on, we began providing the premier primary ticketing solution on the market, a perfect complement to our best-in-class consumer tech. Now our mission goes beyond the fan experience and brings power, control, and flexibility to rightsholders - reinventing live entertainment for the modern, mobile era.
Job Description & Responsibilities
We’re looking for a Lead Data Analyst to join this team. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy individual contributor role for someone who thrives on ambiguity, knows how to connect business priorities to product data, and has a passion for identifying the most meaningful opportunities to improve user and business outcomes.
What you'll do
Partner closely with product, design, and engineering to help shape the roadmap by evaluating potential impact, sizing opportunities, and synthesizing complex data into actionable narratives
Independently lead large-scale analytical efforts, from opportunity sizing to experimental design and deep-dive diagnostics, using both structured and unstructured data
Serve as a strategic thought partner in product development planning by contextualizing product analytics with broader company strategy and market trends
Create or improve key datasets and contribute to our analytical tooling ecosystem (e.g., Looker, dbt, Hex) to ensure we can answer today’s questions and tomorrow’s
Frame and evaluate experiments using industry-best methodologies to isolate causal effects and interpret noisy data
Mentor peers in analysis design, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement — even without direct management responsibilities
Represent analytics in leadership forums, shaping cross-functional discussions and ensuring analytics is embedded in SeatGeek’s most important product decisions

Experience with A/B testing, experimentation platforms, and interpreting complex product behaviors through data
Excellent product sense to rival that of the best product managers you’ve worked with
Demonstrated ability to own ambiguous problem spaces, from framing questions to delivering recommendations
A systems-thinking mindset - you enjoy mapping out how product and business components interact and impact fan experience
Strong communication skills — able to simplify complex analyses, defend methodology choices, and inspire action through insights
Collaborative mindset and emotional intelligence — you’re someone stakeholders seek out for thought partnership, not just dashboards
Excited to contribute to a team culture centered around curiosity, humility, and impact
