Job Description & Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Process Improvement & Design:
Lead hands-on process mapping, analysis, and redesign, using tools such as Mural and Microsoft Visio.
Analyze current-state workflows to identify inefficiencies, data gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Design and document future-state processes aligned to business goals and data capabilities.
Apply Lean and/or Six Sigma principles to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Support digital transformation and automation initiatives through process and data-driven analysis.
Data & Business Analysis:
Partner closely with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business and process requirements.
Translate business problems into clear analytical objectives and actionable recommendations.
Extract, manipulate and analyze data to uncover insights and validate process improvements.
Define, monitor, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities that impact growth, profitability, and loss prevention.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work daily with business partners, customers, AORs, and a global data team to drive alignment.
Act as a trusted advisor—asking the right questions and connecting process, data, and outcomes.
Present findings and recommendations in a clear, compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Contribute to a collaborative team culture that values curiosity, continuous improvement, and impact.
Requirements
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in business analysis or business process analysis within a data-driven environment.
Proven, hands-on experience with process mapping, process design, and process improvement.
Strong understanding of how data supports business decisions and operational efficiency.
Experience working with or supporting Insurance, InsurTech, or digital insurance platforms.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Must-Have Skills:
Experience using process mapping tools such as Mural and/or Microsoft Visio.
Strong proficiency manipulating and analyzing data in Excel.
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to connect process insights to business outcomes.
Hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, and related data and reporting tools.
Hands-on experience defining KPIs and applying data governance and data quality principles.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Lean or Six Sigma certification (or strong working knowledge).
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
What we offer
Compensation offered for this role is 70,100.00 – 121,475.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
