Job Description & Responsibilities
The Senior Data Analyst will determine best practices and develop insights and recommendations for business operations using a variety of data analyses tools.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and improve current processes using statistical and numerical data.
- Analyze and interpret client data to uncover insights, trends, and anomalies.
- Present results from these analyses to management, communicate issues to and from clients, and coordinate resolution of those issues.
- Monitor the system’s business performance, identify areas for improvement and assist in the identification and tracking of issues.
- Automate processes related to client reporting and business health.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Degree with coursework in statistics (MS preferred although a BS with experience will be considered).
- Experience working in an analytics / data / coding position for 3+ years.
- Fluent in Python (3+ years of experience) and with experience implementing solutions using OOP and unit testing.
- Intermediate SQL knowledge including familiarity with common table expressions and window functions.
- A passion for digging into, cleaning, and interpreting complicated, heterogenous, and imperfect data.
- Ability to distill and clearly communicate complex ideas to senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable using Git, Jira.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to work with a team.
- Proven ability to work on time-sensitive deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to apply statistical knowledge to analyze data, identify trends, outliers, create reports, automate processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience prototyping UIs (PowerBI/Tableau, Dash, Bokeh, and/or utilizing JavaScript frameworks).
- Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server.
- Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised modeling algorithms and approaches.
- Data visualization experience (Matplotlib, Seaborn, etc).
- Experience with data warehouse solutions a plus (Snowflake).
- Experience working with Azure / AWS.

The Pay Range For This Role Is
115,000 - 115,000 USD per year
