Senior Data Analyst, Clinical Quality job description

About the Role:

Clinical Quality Data Analysts deeply understand the integrated nature of quality healthcare delivery, risk management and day-to-day performance of the healthcare business. They identify and evaluate opportunities and potential risks that could impact optimizing results with the primary goal of safety and risk mitigation. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Clinical Quality, this analyst will surface insights for clinical and risk management policies and procedures, focused care delivery initiatives, and continuous process improvement to ensure a world-class experience for both patients & providers. This role is highly collaborative and cross-functional.

You Will:
Proactively and consistently identify potential risks across clinical quality through data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and process reviews. Develop data-driven strategies and actionable recommendations to enhance safety and risk mitigation in a timely manner and shift these trends to improve overall business performance.

Lead the evaluation and likelihood of potential risk impact, prioritize amongst the risk pool and determine strategies for mitigation in collaboration with key stakeholders and business partners.

Implement efficiency of current resources and analyze, and present complex data findings, trends, hypotheses, and actionable recommendations to Medical Affairs and Telemedicine leadership and stakeholders, to streamline performance improvement in both clinical quality and telemedicine procedures for common goals. Effectively convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences (including SVPs and Medical Directors).

Monitor provider clinical performance utilizing clinical quality metrics and telemedicine KPIs to identify and mitigate issues/opportunities. Work cross-functionally (with Medical Affairs, Product, Customer Support) to address those issues and opportunities.

Collaborate with and act as point person for EMR product needs, including following up on project solution steps through to final implementation and monitoring.

Create and implement provider scorecards consistent with clinical quality metrics, daily visit queues, and incorporating appropriate operational KPIs; identifying trends, and working with Clinical Quality and Supply Operations to ensure sufficient marketplace balance.

Lead ad hoc requests for data and reporting needs outside of available dashboards for Clinical Quality and other cross-functional teams (Product, Medical Affairs, Growth).

Maintain a roadmap of requests/needs and stay up-to-date with expectations/communication

Cultivate a collaborative and constructive team environment, exemplifying a low-ego, high-humility, and partnership-oriented approach.

Senior Data Analyst, Clinical Quality job requirements

You Have:

5+ years of experience in operations and/or analytics, preferably at a high-growth healthcare company or consumer marketplace - previous clinical quality experience a plus

Proven track record in analytical and operations role within a rapidly growing company: balancing data-driven quantitative and qualitative inputs for rapid decision-making and execution

Strong business acumen, written and verbal communication skills; proficient with presenting to cross-functional, technical and non-technical stakeholders in easily understood formats

Thrives and adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth and rapidly changing environment

Demonstrated leadership abilities and a collaborative mindset, with a passion for mentoring and supporting the growth of team members

Advanced proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization using tools such as SQL, Excel, Looker, and Tableau
