Senior Data Analyst, Compensation job description

EngageSmart is looking for a Senior Compensation and Data Analyst to join the Total Rewards team. In this role, you will help to lead and participate in the administration, design, and implementation of compensation programs and projects. This role also supports data-driven decision making across HR by conducting research and using analytics to communicate trends and business insights.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Design and lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of compensation programs
  • Lead the administration and program management of the annual compensation and equity planning processes
  • Scale compensation related programs including internal level alignment, job evaluation, salary range development, and compensation systems
  • Create dashboards and key metrics to ensure the business unit leaders have access to the right data to guide decision making
  • Partner and collaborate with key stakeholders, HRBP's, Talent Acquisition, and managers on compensation related initiatives and projects
  • Perform annual competitive analysis and on-going pay equity evaluation and make recommendations based on evaluation
  • Partner with the HRIS team on compensation related projects and in the maintenance of compensation related data in Workday
  • Partner with cross functional teams including, but not limited to, Finance, Payroll, and Legal
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws including conducting FLSA evaluation and job audits
  • Additional HR related projects as needed
Senior Data Analyst, Compensation job requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years relevant compensation experience in growing organizations
  • Strong ability to analyze data, form conclusions, and provide actionable guidance
  • Excellent communications & problem-solving skills with ability to communicate complex topics easily
  • Ability to handle data and employee information with the highest level of integrity when it comes to confidentiality and ethics
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of HRIS; Workday experience highly preferred
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of the team
What we offer at EngageSmart

Base Compensation Range: ($100,000.00 to $130,000.00) annually

Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission and equity. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.

The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
