Senior Data Analyst job description

BryceTech is looking for a Senior Data Analyst, Scenario Planning to join our team. The Senior Data Analyst will work for our federal government customer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and/or business analytics, and be able to work across multiple teams.

  • Candidate will be responsible for helping a federal client develop and evolve a decision support scenario planning tools for federal workforce planning.
  • Need experience in creating scenario and agent-based modeling, specifically monte carlo simulation, using R.
  • Experienced in Python programming for developing and evolving the distribution of the results. Knowledge of Power BI tools desirable.
  • Candidate will develop and evolve the tools and work with clients to identify and incorporate relevant data into the future scenarios including workforce and financial data. The data analyst will forecast and analyze trends, metrics, and performance measurements.
  • Candidate will refine the tool adding data and additional parameters and approaches to share results cooperation with decisionmakers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) degree in engineering, data analytics, mathematics, or STEM related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of related experience
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in data analysis and modeling
  • Expert in R and Python programming.
  • Experience with human capital, workforce related topics, preferred
  • Experience with NASA or related federal agencies preferred
