Job Description & Responsibilities
Variscale Services and Engineering, Inc. (VSEI) is seeking a Sr Business / Data Analyst passionate about transforming data into actionable information for the purpose of scaling a fast growth service sector. This highly visible role will be in daily interaction with the Vice President of Operations and for the right individual could transition into a managerial role building and running an entire analytical team
What You Will Do
- Build telemetry, measures, and data flows that highlight where the business is operating well and alarm where it is not.
- Use your knowledge and creativity to drive automation, visualization, and department measures.
Requirements
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in technical or business discipline
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analyst role
Experience with SQL, Tableau, and PowerBI, not to mention being an Excel super user
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Proven analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Ability to manage a broad range of tasks and a track record of efficiently meeting deadlines
Preferred
- Advanced technical or business degree (MS or MBA)
- Experience in presenting and communicating with an executive audience
- Advanced working knowledge of data mining using, ETL, data warehouse
- Experience with process re-engineering, quality process improvement techniques, business project modeling techniques
What we offer
ZT Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package is created for all our employees. The typical base salary for this position in Seattle, WA is expected to be between $90,000 and $125,000 per year. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
