Senior Data Analyst job description

As a senior data analyst within the analytics team, you will work in an environment where everyone is passionate about data, analytics and self-development with a client-centric focus. You will have an opportunity to deploy advanced data engineering, data science tools and techniques to media analytics.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Develop, test and deploy machine learning models such as conversion attribution models, bid optimization etc. to address client business issues regarding advertising, media, competitive and new products
  • Develop econometric modeling and simulations/forecasts applied to marketing mix optimization, campaign segmentation, optimization and customer lifetime value analyses
  • Analyze data and generate visualizations and insights for use in client presentations
  • Extract, analyze, and synthesize data from a variety of sources to measure and report on online and offline customer behavior.
  • Act as subject matter expert on the effective use of analytical tools, methodologies and industry happenings
  • Build forecasts and budgets to optimize clients media plans
  • Act as primary day-to-day contact on insights and analytics clients: develop business requirements, collect and analyze data, present results
  • Manage project timelines and deliverable schedules and share concerns about deliverables, timelines, and issues with project managers and directors
Senior Data Analyst job requirements

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or Applied Math is required.
  • 2+ years related work experience, preferably in media analytics
  • Experience developing scalable Machine learning applications
  • Fluency in SAS, SPSS, R or any other advanced analytics software package
  • Experience in R, Spark-Scala, Python or SQL
  • Experience in a cloud computing environment such as GCP, Azure or AWS
  • Experience in visualization tools such as Tableau, Excel, Power BI
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations using analytical, statistical and econometric modeling techniques.
  • Knowledge of digital ecosystem (ie. ad servers, attribution, tagging, ad verification) and traditional advertising preferred
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills – a demonstrated ability to mine data for relevant and actionable insights
  • Excellent written, oral communication, project management and presentation skills..
What we offer at GroupM

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package
