Senior Data Analyst, Product job description

As a Senior Product Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our products. Your insights will directly influence product development strategies, feature prioritization, and product roadmap. Collaborating closely with product managers, you will translate complex data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making and facilitate continuous improvement.

In this job you will...

  • Gather data from various sources, including user interactions, market trends, and product usage metrics.
  • Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to analyze and interpret large datasets.
  • Identify patterns, trends, and correlations to extract meaningful insights relevant to product performance and user behavior.
  • Assess the effectiveness of existing product features and functionalities through rigorous analysis.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting success areas and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to measure the impact of product changes on user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with product managers to understand their goals, priorities, and requirements.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support product roadmap decisions, feature prioritization, and resource allocation.
  • Act as a strategic partner to product managers, offering insights and data-driven guidance throughout the product lifecycle

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Reside permanently and currently in the United States. Sorry, we're not hiring outside the US now even if you're willing to work during US time zones.

It'd be nice if you…

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Reside permanently and currently in Lincoln, NE or the surrounding metro area.
  • Have experience utilizing dbt and Github.
  • A deep understanding of SaaS is a plus.
