Summary

Collaborates across various functions (IT, Marketing, Sales, etc.) and works on Sales Analytics Department Activities to include delivering predictive models and actionable ad-hoc insights. • Works cross-functionally to support sales OGSMs to deliver timely and actionable data insights to the sales organization.
• Independently harvests, blends, and evaluates large amounts of internal and external data to gleam insights and trends.
• Regularly forms recommended actions based on a data-driven and logical approach.
• Clearly articulates findings, problem statements, and recommendations to various levels of the organization.
• Regularly researches industry trends and developments to further enrich personal and team’s work products.
• Harvests, blends, and evaluates large amounts of internal and external data to gleam insights and trends.
• Creates, manages, and continuously evolves a set of Data Visualizations or Dashboards that are leveraged by senior levels of Gallo’s sales organization.
• Partners regularly with Gallo’s community of Data Scientists and Analyst in order to bring forward best in class insights.
• Contributes to a culture of entrepreneurship and excellence, and support the broader team’s agile practices.
• Interprets data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvement.
• Writes queries or reports to provide data for various analytical projects.
• Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed.
• Aggregates and performs statistical analysis on business data based on requests from project teams or senior leadership.
• Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or State Issued Certificate.
• Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, Economics or Physics plus 2 year of data analytics experience; OR Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, Economics or Physics plus 4 years of data analytics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR 8 years of data analytics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Experience in Python and highly proficient with Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, or SciKitLearn packages.
• Experience with SQL query language and understanding of establishing and manipulating enterprise level database connections.
• Experience with developing dashboards in PowerBI, Tableau, or MicroStrategy.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, Economics or Physics plus 3 years of data analytics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, Economics or Physics plus 6 years of data analytics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Experience effectively presenting information to top management, public groups and boards of directors.
• Experience in developing ETL Pipelines leveraging AWS Tools including.
• Experience completing assignments that broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity.
• Knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of this particular field of specialization.
